Are there any compelling reasons to prefer dhcpcd over dhclient? The system is Slackware 10.0 (waiting for 11.0 <grin>), which uses dhcpcd. The reason I'm considering a switch is that I am unable to configure dhcpcd to "insist" on the IP _I_ want as opposed to the one my ISP wants to give me. -- gypsy
