[Dnsmasq-discuss] dnsmasq cache file

i am a newbie to dnsmasq. is there someone who could help me provide information on how to create a cache file for dnsmasq? i have read that it has no cache file in default. something like putting 127.0.0.1 in resolv.conf will do. if it will be added to dnsmasq.conf, what will be the syntax? i need this badly to test dnsmasq to work in my dns forwarder.  thanks
