I don't know when the feature got implemented, but at least on my 2.39
box, I get this when I start up:
dnsmasq: using nameserver aa.bb.ccc.2#53
dnsmasq: using nameserver aa.bb.ccc.1#53
dnsmasq: ignoring nameserver 127.0.0.1 - local interface
My resolv.conf contains (among other things):
dnsmasq is apparently smart enough to not ask itself for information. ;-)
