No, the search process for server=/<domain>/ and address=/<domain>/
lines in dnsmasq.conf is linear.
I'd like to move the entries for

> from the hosts to /etc/dnsmasq.conf.more in the
> format to take advantage of the wildcard feature, but I have many many

Performance wins or losses will depend on how many individual names are
replaced by one wildcard, I guess.
