FYI: the German magazine LinuxUser has a 3 page article on dnsmasq in 
the 2009/03 issue.

In short, the article describes how to configure and use dnsmasq for DNS 
and DHCP, leading to following conclusion:
dnsmasq restricts itself to the important Internet-connectivity 
functions for a local network. Once configured, one quickly forgets that 
it is running.


A conclusion which I fully agree with!
