irc.freenode.org is resolving now. Actually, it started resolving yesterday
around 1pm as far as I can tell. 12:57 to be exact. At 12:56 it did not
resolve, and at 12:57 it did.

I'll note that the answer contains substantially fewer hosts today. Could
that be the problem (too many hosts)?
