[Dnsmasq-discuss] DNS does not work (UNCLASSIFIED)

Indeed, the firewall was blocking the DNS requests.

I enabled the DNS service on the firewall for the dnsmasq machine and I
finally got back DNS responses.

Can you see the dnsmasq startup banners in the syslog?

Given the information we have so far, I think iptables rules blocking
the packets are the most likely explanation.
