I forgot to say in my previous message: I have debugging logging turned on in WIDE dhcp6c and it's very obvious that Conrad's client is closely related to the client I'm running: there are not two client called dhcp6c, but Conrad's version WIDE dhcp6c is significantly different to the one in Debian.
