2.31-1 on Debian unstable and haven't had a problem with machines showing in

machine, which runs dnsmasq and has eth0 for the internal network and eth1 for
the internet connection. I then have 2 Windows machines on the network,
which registered themselves OK using DHCP and I can do name resolution of the
machine names from either of the other machines, or from the gateway, with no
problems.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

added another machine to the network - a Sun Ultra 5 which I've loaded
Debian unstable onto, and which was able to get an IP address from dnsmasq no

<DIV><SPAN class=828280008-12062006><FONT face=Verdana size=2>I am unable to
resolve the name of this machine from either my gateway machine or either of my
Windows machines. I added the name of the machine to /etc/hosts on the
gateway, and I can now resolve the name of the machine from the gateway, but not
from either of the Windows machines - I've restarted dnsmasq on the gateway
since adding the machine to the hosts file.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

switches I can set to see what's happening and why this machine isn't
registering correctly in dnsmasq and it isn't able to resolove the machine name
