</span>This bit me long ago, and the result was the --log-async option, which<br>
makes dnsmasq immune to backpressure from the logging system, and,<br>
more importantly, avoids deadlocks when the log daemon makes DNS<br>
queries through the local dnsmasq instance.<br>
