[Dnsmasq-discuss] hosts with . (dot)

Hello, 

When I configure a host at /etc/hosts ike this

--
192.168.0.123 www www.vhost
--

And the domain is example.com

The clients just resolv system system.test and not www.vhost.example.com like
happens with www, when I ping www, it responds for www.example.com.

To solve this, I have to put the FQDN on /etc/hosts like www.vhost.example.com

Is there a configuration for this to work, or a patch is needed ?
