[Dnsmasq-discuss] replacing bind even more

I had to switch fat pipe providers recently and the new name servers 
(owned by Comcast) seem to be the slowest pieces of "computing" I have 
ever seen.  In days long past I would just run bind and be my own name 
server feeding off of the root name servers.  Today, I don't want to 
work so hard and I wonder if there's any way I can use dnsmasq and feed 
off of the root name servers?
