right now i have dnsmasq working fine for a home network - example:
computerA.home
computerb.home
computerC.home
i want to run a webserver and registered with dyndns example:
mysite.homelinux.org
Vsite1.mysite.homelinux.org
Vsite2.mysite.homelinux.org
i wanted this to work on the internal network so i could ssh or goto the
web page.
mysite.homelinux.org == computerC
Vsite1.mysite.homelinux.org == computerC
Vsite2.mysite.homelinux.org == computerC
where apache can use the virtual host/site on both internal and external
request.
i was going to set up an email server to work with both domains.
can i have the home domain be the same/alias for mysite.homelinux.org?
also, OT, if i ssh to myrouter.home from an computer on the home network
it works. however if i try to ssh out from myrouter.home, i do not get
the lookup. can dnsmasq work on the machine its running on?
sorry if none of this makes any sense. not sure what to search the web
for on this. i usually just get a howto for one of these configurations,
but not both.
thanks
matt
