[Dnsmasq-discuss] alias broken? (version 2.40)

Hi,

We just upgraded from dnsmasq 2.38 to 2.40 (on FreeBSD) and it seems
that the alias ip address rewrite is broken (or is there a config
change?).

alias=1.2.3.4,5.6.7.8

So a domainname that is resolved to 1.2.3.4 if not being reported to
client as 5.6.7.8. Dnsmasq report back to client 1.2.3.4 (instead of
5.6.7.8)

This alias functionality has been serving us very well over the past
years. We love to get it back working again.

Any suggestions?
