I think I spoke too soon, or my use case is more obscure. I've confirmed
that when I request the second IP for the virtual interface, the
original entry in dnsmasq.leases for the physical interface gets
replaced by the one for the virtual interface. As a result, Dnsmasq can
no longer resolve name queries for the host name used for the
non-virtual interface.

Are the leases in this file keyed on MAC address with the assumption
that there can only be one lease active per MAC, or is this another bug?
