Do you have any PC with two NICs that you could use as a transparent
bridge + packet capture? Windows since XP makes this really easy
(select two NICs, right-click, bridge connections), and Linux is
barely more difficult. A fair number of motherboards come with dual
NIC these days, or you can try to wedge a laptop with wired and
wireless ethernet in between the phone and router somehow.
