[Dnsmasq-discuss] hosts problem

Hi
i´m the new here and i´m a noob.i installed dnsmasq to my Synology station, but host funcionality doesn´t work for me. I copied hosts file from my windows folder (which worked fine), uncomment domain-needed and bogus-priv. i don´t have local domain, just workgroup. what i did wrong or what i missed to do? whem I try to ping do name, which is defined in hosts file, I´ve got a reply, that was not able to trnslate the name to IP
