I had DNSMASQ running on a bridge for years, doing both DHCP and DNS.
The bridge consisted of two eth and one tap, the latter being used by
an OpenVPN server. All worked well at the time. I *could* try and set
up that config again it you would like, with the DNSmasq I am currently
running, but that'll take a few days.
