Hi Albert,

I took a look at 2.76 before even working on 2.55.  In this particular area, the code bases are virtually the same... so the changes would apply to the latest version as well.  I will submit patch to the mail list as separate email.

Yes, you can submit patches to the list.

However, 2.55 is quite old with respect to the current release of dnsmasq, which is 2.76 IIRC.
