[Dnsmasq-discuss] iPhone 17 Pro Max DHCP not working

Hi,

I have built and tested with 2.91 and problem persists.

I’ve also studied logs more and with working devices, which is all devices except the iPhone 17 Pro Max, I see …

DHCPDISCOVER
DHCPOFFER
DHCPREQUEST
DHCPACK

… but with the iPhone 17 Pro Max I only see DHCPDISCOVER and DHCPOFFER and then they repeat indefinitely.  It’s as if the iPhone never sees the DHCPOFFER.

What is even more interesting is that if I connect the iPhone wired via a USB-C to Ethernet adapter it works perfectly.

I was also out and about at the weekend and the iPhone connects to other DHCP networks with no issues - so it’s only got a problem with dnsmasq.
