Hi, I don't remember exactly, but if a name is associated with an ip and /etc/hosts and a dhcp client provide the same hostname, the dns will reply the second address (dhcp one). Shouldn't the static one (/etc/hosts) be replied ? Sorry if it is not the case. Matthieu CASTET PS: What happen when more than one dhcp client provide the same hostname ?
