Works perfectly, thanks!
With a config like this:
dhcp-vendorclass=set:ti,DM814x
# serve this to the boot rom
dhcp-boot=tag:ti,u-boot.min.sd
I get:
dnsmasq-dhcp: 1 available DHCP range: 172.16.1.2 -- 172.16.1.250
dnsmasq-dhcp: 1 vendor class: DM814x ROM v1.0
dnsmasq-dhcp: 1 tags: bootp, ti, eth0
dnsmasq-dhcp: 1 BOOTP(eth0) 172.16.1.200 84:7e:40:dd:1a:e8
dnsmasq-dhcp: 1 bootfile name: u-boot.min.sd
