Hello,In my setup, I want dnsmasq to ignore unknown clients. So, I am using dhcp-ignore=tag:!known entry in my dnsmasq.conf.I am registering the known client mac address in dhcp-hostsfile = /etc/my_system_hosts_file. I am registering only the MAC address and there is no IP address yet. I want dnsmasq dhcp server to dynamically allocate it.Registration of client/system is dynamic. So, after adding a new host into the hostsfile, i am sending SIGHUP for dnsmasq to re-read the updated hostsfile.Everything works fine. The client gets an ip address and it also gets tftp booted with the image. But, i cannot see the IP address assigned to that client anywhere except /var/log/syslog file and the client nic itself./var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases DOES NOT have any entry for this. dhcp-hostsfile DOES NOT get updated with the ip address.I need to query dnsmasq about the ip address of a given mac address. Is there something wrong or am I missing? Thanks,Jay
