The commit messages are way too terse. At https://cbea.ms/git-commit/
is good advice on commit messages.
And one patch, the IPv6 one, would introduce trailing white space.
Both patches are applied to branch y22w27 of
my dnsmasq mailing list patch collection.

in a rfc8520mud branch and maintain them for a while.
