[Dnsmasq-discuss] Info update needed?

Hi,
There has been no response to my previous mail, probably because what I
suggested was really bad. Following Geert Stappers' advice to let go the
idea of "I'm asking only once!", I try again.
The point I wanted to make is that the setup info at
https://dnsmasq.org/docs/setup.html needs an update. From the section
"Defeating wildcards in top level domains", one gets the impression that
it has not been updated the last twenty years or so. In an answer to a
question about Verisign in https://dnsmasq.org/docs/FAQ it is explicitly
stated that this was written in September 2003. I realize that members of
Dnsmasq-discuss rarely visit these pages, but potential new users may well
turn to dnsmasq.org/docs for an authoritative answer. If the information
at dnsmasq.org/docs is obsolete, they may (erroneously) conclude that
dnsmasq is not properly maintained and abandon their intension to install
it. Doesn't anyone see the need to update these pages? Is there nobody who
can find some time to update them to help new users to get started?
Best wishes,
Kjell
